Since ever mortar and
pestle are the unquestioned tools used in the preparation
of any kind of crushed food, the most important of which is the genoes
pesto. Usually realised in stone or marble, Italesse's mortar and pestle
for food are innovative, because done in plastic materials with a new
trendy and modern style. Epi mortar and Ipo pestle have a funny design,
a cartoon-minded aesthetic, which enable preparing fantastic mojitos
for 1 or 4 persons. They are perfect also for other kind of crushed
cocktails.

The mortar, designed by Luca Nichetto, is made of food polypropylene, a
plastic material which confers that particular funny aspect, raw and
rough. Opal black is the colour; it is available in 2 dimensions (for 1
and 4 persons).
IPO
PESTLE: BAR EQUIPMENT AND SUPPLIES >>
The acrylic Ipo pestle is made in 2 dimensions: it accompanies the Epi
mortar which is in turn mono or 4portions. It is done in transparent
acrylic, it's sturdy, the handling is ergonomic; it's equipped with a
rubber spoon to make scooping out what you’ve crushed very easy. It
could be used also without spoon.
